Wales' captain for the 2018/19 season, Luke Treharne has spent the past few years balancing his medical studies at Exeter with playing top-class sevens for his country.
He was a member of the Great Britain Students side which claimed glory in Brive at the World Students Games in 2012.
A talented playmaker, Treharne was one of three Wales players (Luke Morgan and Sam Cross being the others) to make the extended GB 7s Men's squad for the Rio Olympics.
